EVATON. – A Producer from Evaton West, Surprise Baloyi has just released his first Deep House music album.
Baloyi started doing music when he was 16 years old in high school and got inspired by w well know Hip-Hop star Wiz Khalifa.
“I listened to his songs a lot each and every day until I started saving and buying my studio equipment. That is when I started making my own music.”

Baloyi said that it was hard for him to focus on both his school work and music at the same time, however, he managed to juggle the two.
“I then made my first song using Wiz Khalifa’s beats from ‘Black and Yellow’ and that was interesting. That is when I saw that I really do have talent in music.”
Baloyi said that like many young boys in the township he started playing soccer with the hopes of going professional but that never materialised as his first love was always music.
“It took me years to learn music, until this year when I did my first album (First Born) with 11 House Music tracks. I got much support from my family and friends, and I wish to say that it is all thanks to them, believing in me and that I am where I am. Music has helped me understand how life works and I am learning more, I am so happy.”
