GAUTENG. – The Gauteng Department of Human Settlements is warning residents against falling for a fake RDP allocation scam.

“Please note that there are a number of fake RDP allocation notices that have been making rounds. Government services are offered at no cost.”

The Department urges residents to make housing queries at the 5 customer support centres across Gauteng.

“We encourage members of the public to report these criminal elements and corruption in the government housing value chain; to the Gauteng Hotline on 0860 428 8364.”
