SASOLBURG.- The Fezile Dabi District Infrastructure Intervention Team successfully arrested four suspects, aged 47, 47, 62, and 60, for kidnapping and robbery in Sasolburg, recently.

It is said that on Thursday, January 18, while the District’s Infrastructure Intervention team was patrolling in Sasolburg town, they came across a woman, aged 55. The victim explained that she was forcefully taken into a white Toyota by four male occupants and they forcefully took R500 from her bag.

Fortunately, the victim managed to write down the vehicle’s registration number. Police followed the information and the vehicle was spotted. Four male occupants were found in the vehicle and all four suspects were arrested and money was also recovered in the possession of the suspects.

The vehicle was also confiscated as it was used during the commission of a crime.
