GBV awareness campaign in Evaton

There is no excuse not to open criminal cases and protection orders.

EVATON. – The Evaton police GBV Brigades, Sector Managers, Patrollers, and the Community Policing Forum (CPF) held an awareness campaign for GBVF at Sector 1 in Evaton Central last Tuesday.

Police spokesperson, Constable Thulisile Msibi said that more than five hundred (500) pamphlets about how to open a protection order, who can apply for it, and when is it valid, and contact details of Evaton Saps were distributed.

“The community was encouraged not to tolerate GBVF and not to wait until it’s late, the police station is open 365 days and 24 hours a day. So, there is no excuse not to open criminal cases and protection orders.”
