Two-year-old kidnapped in Tshirela

Police urge the community to help find Kutlwano Shalaba who was snatched earlier today by a silver-grey polo occupied by three unidentified men.

BOIPATONG – Police in Boipatong are urgently seeking assistance after a terrifying abduction of a two-year-old boy happened on Wednesday afternoon, November 13.

This comes after Kutlwano Shalaba was snatched from his mother in broad daylight when they [mother and son] were jumping off from a taxi in Tshirela, near Dr. Nhlapo stop sign.

According to police spokeswoman, Sergeant Thembeka Maxambela, Keneiwe Shalaba (32) mother of the missing boy claims her son was snatched by three unidentified men driving in a silver-grey Polo.

The said men seized Kutlwano and sped off, leaving the distraught mother helpless.

In an urgent request for assistance, police have called on the community to aid in locating the missing toddler.

“Police urge anyone with relevant information to come forward and contact the Branch commander Captain Mokgoto on 082 778 7937 immediately and Sgt Thembeka Maxambela 079 695 1338.”
