Two men sought to assist with murder investigation

BOIPATONG. – Following the arrest of slain David Tlali’s wife, Nthabiseng Tlali, and her domestic worker, Lineo Ralitsela, police are now seeking the help of two men who the accused said can assist in further investigations.

Tlali was gunned down and his lifeless body was discovered at his gate by a passerby in the early hours of August 12 last year. Police spokesperson, Sergeant Thembeka Maxambela said the car belonging to the deceased was found abandoned at the scene.

“Preliminary investigations showed that the deceased was shot as he opened his gate. We are now requesting the community’s help locating two men to assist in the investigation.

“We are looking for a man known as ‘General’ or ‘Liphafa’, a Lesotho national believed to be residing at Khuma in Stilfontein, and ‘Tseko’ known as Roba residing at Thabatseka Mahlanapeng Litsoetse in Lesotho.

We urge anyone with information on the two men’s whereabouts to come forward and assist in the investigation.”

Information can be reported to warrant officer Moss Mogajane on 016 930 2338.

The arrested suspects are scheduled to appear at the Vanderbijlpark Magistrate’s Court on January 9 for a formal bail application.
