ELM mayor assesses school readiness in Tshepong

TSHEPONG – Emfuleni Local Municipality mayor Sipho Radebe recently assessed school readiness at Tshepong Secondary School. Upon arrival, Radebe expressed that he was impressed to see the jubilation of learners, teachers, and parents.

“This is indeed good progress. Seeing enthusiastic learners and the commitment of the educators gives me confidence that 2025 will be a successful academic year,” he said.

Radebe was joined by De Deur SAPS members, CPF members, and Siyabangena Patrollers who ensured school safety and a smooth first week of school.

De Deur SAPS spokesperson Constable Mampho Mahlomola highlighted the importance of working together to maintain school safety.

“Our presence here today reflects our commitment to creating a secure environment for learners. We will continue to work closely with schools, parents, and the community to ensure safety throughout the academic year.”
