The Sedibeng Trips Championship is one of many district tournaments that gets played yearly. Teams enter from their own clubs, namely Vanderbijl, Iscor, Meyerton, Riverside, Henley on Klip, Deneysville and Sasol.
The winners were Chris Kruyshaar, TC Cadwell and Stephen Ramage. Runners up, also for the second year in a row are Barend Steyn, Koot Steyn and Hennie Bester. Third was Kallie Kock, Alex Badenhorst and Jeanré van Wyk. Sedibeng competition secretary Raymond Hocknell presented the trophies.
The ladies also did exceptionally well considering not many ladies were available to enter this year. The winners were Sasol Bowling Club (Nita Wessels, Lizette Bester and Elmarie Badenhorst). Runners-up were Iscor (names not given) and in third place was Vanderbijl (Lauren Coetzee, Tarryn Cadwell and Engela Kruger).
