In a statement on Tuesday, July 4, CERT-SA said their crew received a call for a wall that collapsed and fell on two people in Jopie Fourie Street, Kookrus, Meyerton.
“Upon arrival, we found Midvaal Fire and Rescue already on the scene and attending to the patients. We assessed the patients and found that both of them had sustained moderate injuries after a wall fell over and fell on top of both the patients’ legs.”
Both the patients were stabilized on scene and were transported to nearby facilities by ER24 and GPG.
