CPF urges residents and businesses to remain vigilant

Sasolburg CPF has issued a warning to and local businesses about a concerning trend of individuals impersonating CPF patrollers in the area.

Sasolburg Community Policing Forum (CPF) has issued an urgent warning to residents and local businesses regarding a concerning trend of individuals impersonating CPF patrollers in the area.

In a statement CPF’s Charissa Griessel said in recent weeks, there has been reports of suspicious individuals falsely claiming to be CPF patrollers while engaging in unauthorized activities within the community.

“The CPF takes this matter seriously and is committed to ensuring the safety and security of our residents.”

“If you are approached by someone claiming to be a CPF patroller, we strongly advise you to verify their identity before granting access to your property or sharing any personal information. CPF patrollers should always carry proper identification and be willing to provide it upon request.”

Griessel urged residents and businesses that encounter any suspicious individuals or activities related to CPF patrollers, to contact CPF’s Chairperson or the police immediately.

“It is essential to report such incidents promptly to help maintain the safety and security of our community.”

CPF Sasolburg is cooperating closely with the police to address this issue and ensure that the community remains safe.

“The Sasolburg CPF advises all residents and businesses to remain vigilant and take precautions to safeguard their personal information and property. We appreciate your support and cooperation in helping us maintain a secure and thriving community.”
