SAPS conducts compliance operation at local tuck shops

The police have committed to maintaining high visibility while working together with business owners and community leaders to curb looting.

The police in Evaton together with Crime Prevention Wardens recently conducted a compliance operation at local tuck shops of which some were closed down for selling counterfeit goods in Evaton.

On the same day, the management of SAPS Tsakane and CPF held a meeting with various local business owners and local leaders to discuss anti-looting strategies.

Looting is a prevailing problem which mainly affects local businesses in the area. The police have committed to maintaining high visibility while working together with business owners and community leaders to curb looting.
