VANDERBIJLPARK. – A team of workers descended on Faraday Boulevard on Saturday, 27 October.

They were on a mission of cutting the grass and picking up trash.

They started off near the Faraday circle and moved towards Frikkie Meyer Boulevard. The clean-up operation was organised by Zoom Fibre. Their national marketing specialist, Ms Tsolo Mmako said the company decided to help with cleaning the area after they had been working in that part of town these last months. Most of the workers on Saturday were locals. Ms Mmako said this will be an ongoing project.
