Man sustains two gunshot wounds
Cert SA said their Vaal crew was activated for a shooting incident around the Agricultural Holdings of Groen Denne in Meyerton.
MEYERTON .- A man was seriously injured following a shooting incident in Meyerton.
The incident occurred on Saturday evening, January 27, at 19:30.
Cert SA said their Vaal crew was activated for a shooting incident around the Agricultural Holdings of Groen Denne.
“Upon arrival, we were met by security officers from SSG and SAPS members. A man had sustained two gunshot wounds. He was treated on scene and transported to hospital for urgent care.”
In a separate incident on later that evening at around 21:00, Cert SA responded to another shooting incident in the area of De Deur.
During a shoot-out with suspects, a SAPS Officer sustained serious injuries.
Unfortunately, two other patients succumbed to their injuries.
The officer was treated and stabilised on scene before being transported to a nearby hospital under Advanced Life Support Care.
