GBV awareness campaign in Evaton

The community was encouraged not to tolerate GBVF.

EVATON. – The Evaton police GBV Brigades, Sector Managers, Patrollers, and the Community Policing Forum (CPF) held an awareness campaign for GBVF at Sector 1 in Evaton West Extension 11 recently.

Police spokesperson, Constable Thulisile Msibi said that more than eight hundred (800) pamphlets about how to open a protection order, who can apply for it, and when is it valid, and contact details of Evaton Saps were distributed.

“The community was encouraged not to tolerate GBVF and not to wait until it’s late, the police station is open 366 days and 24 hours a day. So, there is no excuse not to come open the criminal cases and protection orders.”
