Models aims for the sky
Both simultaneously said that they are excited to live their dreams and achieve their goals in the modelling industry.
SEDIBENG.- Vaal is home to talent, as two young aspiring models under the Leading Dynamics Dreams (LDD) modeling agency, Oratiloe Lerato Majaja (20) and Karabo Prosperous Dlamini (17), have been handpicked to model at Eswatini’s Biggest Braai, under the category of the biggest fashion show in Swaziland.
Eswatini’s Biggest Braai is an event scheduled to take place in Swaziland on July 20. The event is significant, with various activities planned, and the two models will be competing in the biggest fashion show category.
Lerato Miyambo, the founder of LDD modeling agency, sent videos of her models to her friend in Swaziland for the auditions, as they were unable to attend in person. The two models were then chosen by Top Models, founded by Mbalenhle Manana, who cast Oratiloe and Karabo from the LDD modeling agency.
Growing up, Dlamini has always admired modeling, with her passion ignited at the age of 12 while in grade 7. She aspires to become Miss South Africa and Miss Universe one day. Her motto is to show the world what she is capable of.
Speaking to Sedibeng Ster, Dlamini said that she was raised by a strong woman who taught her to live in reality, which is why she is practical today. She embodies dedication, discipline, respect, and commitment, aspiring to be a positive force for change for a better tomorrow.
She holds 15 titles, including Miss Teen Vaal Spectacular 2nd Princess 2022/23, Miss Teen Royal Capricorn Queen 2023, Miss Trinity Queen 2023, Miss Teen Noble Heart Gauteng 2023, Zuri Africa Princess Lesotho 2023, and others.
On the other hand, there is Oratiloe Lerato Majaja, a bold, brave, and tenacious 20-year-old woman from Vereeniging, who is an Engineering student at Sedibeng TVET College. Majaja lives by the motto: “I am born to stand out, not to fit in”. She is a vibrant model who, under the LDD modeling agency, has had the opportunity to participate in international fashion shows, including one held in Vanda, Limpopo, earlier last year.
Majaja said: “I want to show everyone that anything is possible, no matter how young you are. If you can envision something, you can achieve it.”
Majaja holds five titles: Miss Confidence, Miss Exquisite, Miss Teen World of Hope 2nd Princess, Zuri Africa Xhosa Princess, and Miss Vaal Spectacular 1st Princess.
Both simultaneously said that they are excited to live their dreams and achieve their goals in the modeling industry. The girls will be traveling to Swaziland on July 19 and returning on July 21. Lerato Miyambo (35), their agent, is their number one supporter and pillar of strength for the girls.
She expressed her pride in Majaja and Dlamini’s achievement.
