VANDERBIJLPARK. – “It was pointless of AfriForum to single out and lay charges against Emfuleni Local Municipality (ELM) Municipal Manager April Ntuli, who does not even control the municipality’s Water and Sanitation infrastructure.”
“Like every right-minded citizen Municipal Manager April Ntuli has always been highly concerned at the environmental degradation of our beautiful Vaal River system as a whole, and particularly since it severely affects Emfuleni, the environment and our marine and tourist economy,” said ELM spokesperson Makhosonke Sangweni.
“This is why MM Ntuli has focused on a game-changing strategic solution on Water and Sanitation with Rand Water which is now close to realisation.
Other ELM sources dismissed the AfriForum charge as politics.
