Emfuleni and SAFA Sedibeng hosts 2nd phase CAF C License
It is always encouraging to see former professional players taking the initiative to empower themselves.
SEDIBENG.- The Emfuleni Local Football Association (ELFA) in conjunction with the South African Football Association (SAFA) will host the CAF C License second phase in November.
This first phase coaching course took place at President Park Stadium from October 19-26. A total number of 28 coaches attended this first coaching phase conducted by Kenneth ‘Conti’ Kubheka and Dr Sphamandla Mathabela. Speaking to Sedibeng Ster Sport, ELFA course coordinator Master Zondo said the second phase is scheduled to take place at the same venue from November 20-26.

He hailed the first phase as a great success. “So far so good, everything is still going well, and is one of the classes with good former professional players. It is always encouraging to see former professional players taking the initiative to empower themselves. As the ELFA we want to thank the management of Ulusha Sports Centre for using their venue, President Park. We also thank the support of SAFA Sedibeng Regional Deputy Chairperson Velaphi Motsepe and ELFA Technical Officer Paul ‘Tsimo’ Motsepe,” said Zondo.
Some of the ex-professional players who attended this coaching course include one of the former greats, Mlungisi Ngubane. Some of the coaches came as far as Algeria, Zimbabwe, Swaziland, Durban, Krugersdorp, and other provinces.
