BOIPATONG.- First Touch United FC showed their classy first-touch football when crowned the John Paya Tournament champions.
They achieved this accomplishment after beating Vaal Manchester United FC 2-0 in the final played at Boipatong soccer ground next to Community Hall on Sunday. This U13 tournament was played in the point format with the two top teams in the final. First Touch United received a trophy and medals for their effort, while Vaal Man United Club received silver medals as runners-up. Speaking to Sedibeng Ster Sport, First Touch United FC Coach Steven Mokoena said this was a morale booster for his team.

He told Sedibeng Ster Sport that his team will host an awards ceremony at Boipatong Community Hall in December.
He requests sponsorship to make these awards successful.
“Winning this tournament will go down as the best thing that happened to us this year. I’m happy that we will end the year on a positive note. I’m happy for these youngsters because they work hard at training and being the champions is remarkable. For awards, I appeal to Boipatong business people to come on board to donate either a trophy, medals water bottles, or T-shirts. I will be happy if we can get these things to reward those youngsters,” pleaded Mokoena.
