SEBOKENG.- Naledi Hlongwane (19) is set to train with Kaizer Chiefs’ senior team.
Chiefs coach, Nasreddine Nabi was impressed by Hlongwane’s stunning performance in December’s Carling Black Label All-Stars game against Magesi. This young star from Sebokeng made headlines when he scored a brace and walked away with the Man of The Match award. Nabi told journalists that Hlongwane together with three other Dstv Diski Challenge (DDC) players will be invited to train with the senior team for further assessment.

This former General Smuts High School learner played consistently for the Chiefs DDC team, scoring crucial goals. He was in top form throughout last year and Nabi praised his performance for the Chiefs DDC team.
“We have a good collaboration with the club’s U23 coaches. We receive reports every two weeks about the players who need to be promoted. I will invite Hlongwane and three other DDC players to train with the senior team in the new year,” said Nabi.
Hlongwane had been scoring goals from a young age before joining Chiefs’ development side.
