SEBOKENG.- Sebokeng Ajax FC hosted its annual Appreciation Award Ceremony at Beverly Hills Park recently to acknowledge and appreciate individuals who were outstanding performers throughout 2024.

This annual event for the players and technical staff members was attended by several parents and supporters. Speaking to Sedibeng Ster Sport, the club’s Managing Director Mangaliso Zondo said the ceremony was also to commemorate the commitment and dedication of the members and the staff.

In August the club hosted an awards ceremony for the senior team currently campaigning in the Hollywood Bet Regional League awards. The recent ceremony was for the club’s development teams including the women’s soccer team. All players and technical staff received certificates of appreciation. There were also individual prizes including the Top Goal Scorer and Player of the Season Award.

“As the Managing Director of the club, I would like to send my sincere appreciation to all members of the club for having a great 2024 season, and I want to thank both our coaches, Nhlanhla ‘Bigo’ Zondo for winning the ELFA U13 league, and Thabo Mathinye for winning U17 ELFA league. I wish everyone all the best in 2025 and can confirm the development teams will resume as of January 16. We are ‘Warriors of Sebokeng’,” concluded Zondo.
