Vaal Marina SAPS gets trimming from residents

Vaal Marina.– The lawns of the Vaal Marina police station got a well-deserved trimming on Monday.
Police spokesperson Constable Tshilidzi de Huis said that Nelis Greyling from Harbour Town and Cornelius Greyling from Sunset Core Management volunteered to assist with cutting grass inside and outside of the police station.

The grass had grown during this rainy season and was dangerous to both the community and members of SAPS.

“The Vaal Marina community is now going to get assistance in a nice, clean, and safe environment. The aim of cutting the grass is to prevent crime and make sure the community feels safe when assisted. A special appreciation goes out from Vaal Marina’s acting station commander Warrant Officer Pieter Viljoen,” De Huis said.
