SEDIBENG.- It can’t be business as usual when criminal activities are taking place in our football.
Zakes’s Sports Corner had an interview with Safa Sedibeng Acting Region Executive Officer Velaphi Motsepe following the dismissal of their regional league coordinator. However, more was revealed about how some individuals misused regional funds and their powers for personal benefits. Zakes’s Sports Corner was shocked by Motsepe’s revelations about how some individual(s) had stolen from this region.
There seems to be no accountability and nothing has been done about this. Zakes’s Sports Corner was told that some of those individuals had been suspended and dismissed. Strange enough, the same individual(s) serve at SAFA Provincial level.
Really!
Zakes’s Sports Corner suggested to the Safa President, Solly Mkhabela, that a case of fraud should be opened against those implicated. It can’t be business as usual, there must be accountability as that money was intended for football development in this region. How can somebody use our football money for her and her family?
Come on somebody!
The things that Motsepe told Zakes’s Sports Corner are disgusting, to say the least. Safa Sedibeng seems to have enough evidence against those individual(s) for their criminal activities but still nothing has been done. To suspend and dismiss a person is not enough, especially if he or she was involved in criminal activities. This matter requires a fraud case to be opened with the police for more investigation. People can’t just get away with this.
Noooooo!
They must be held accountable and return that money.
Zakes’ Sports Corner challenges Mkhabela and his executive committee to open the fraud case against whoever was involved in criminal activities at Safa Sedibeng. They have enough evidence to put those individual(s) behind bars if these allegations are true. Zakes’s Sports Corner doesn’t blame those individuals, but the Safa Sedibeng President for failing to take action against them.
HELLO!
Suspending and dismissing them is not enough, they must face the music in a court of law, like everyone, there is no way people can be implicated in criminal activities and not be charged. In this country we have laws!
