VANDERBIJLPARK – Three bodies were found in a manhole on January 20 along Barrage Road close to the VUT Isak Steyl Stadium.

The gruesome discovery was made by Rand Water staff when they took a water reading.

According to police, the bodies of three men were found in one of the manholes.

According to reports, all the deceased are citizens of Lesotho who were legally in the country.

The road in the direction of Vereeniging was closed for some time.

One of the deceased’s arms was tied behind his back.

The police are investigating the case.
