VEREENIGING – Some services at Kopanong Hospital have been impacted due to water supply interruptions. In a statement, the Gauteng Department of Health revealed that areas affected by water interruptions include the theatre, maternity ward, antenatal clinic, and medical and orthopedic wards.
“However, the ground floor offering services including OPD, Tuberculosis wards, food service, laundry, and mortuary is not affected by the water shortage.”
The department wishes to assure members of the public that the matter is being attended to as the contractor is on-site and the situation is closely monitored.
“We would like to apologise to the patients and public for the inconvenience.”
