SEDIBENG.- Rain or no rain, there will be action at various venues all over Sedibeng this coming weekend.

Safa Sedibeng teams will be engaged in the Hollywood Regional Men’s League battling for maximum points. It is still early stages of the season to predict which team will walk away with the title, though Perfect Academy has set the pace at the top. They started the season like a house on fire, collecting maximum points.

The defending champions Young Pirates FC, however, is another team that looks set to retain their title by the end of the season. Pirates FC are the defending champions after they beat Perfect Academy and VUT FC.

It was a close contest between these three teams with Pirates FC emerging as the winners in Stream A with Perfect Academy finishing behind them. In another stream, VUT FC was crowned the champions only to lose to Pirates FC in the play-offs to determine the overall winner to represent Sedibeng at the SAFA Inter-Regional plays-offs.

This weekend the focus will be at George Thabe Stadium where Perfect Academy clashes against Real Hearts FC on Saturday. The kick-off time is 13:00. It is expected to be an interesting encounter considering that Real Hearts FC is one of the most competitive teams in the league. They have won the league title on two occasions back-to-back.

There will be a doubleheader at the same venue on the same day with Mmabatho FC up against Sebokeng Ajax FC. This game starts at 11:00. Ajax FC comes into this encounter as the favorite to walk away with maximum points.

There will also be action galore at Qedilizwe ground in Evaton North where Celta Vigo FC SUBS and Vaal Juventus FC will be at home.
