All in the name of Love

The 4 Forty Jazz Club welcomed all the clubs and visitors from different provinces.

SEBOKENG.- In celebration of February, the month of Love, The Zone Tavern hosted the Sedibeng Jazz Foundation’s (SJF) jazz super session recently.

The 4 Forty Jazz Club welcomed all the clubs and visitors from different provinces, while the presenters entertained the audience by keeping the fire burning by playing wonderful jazz melodies. Along came ladies and gentlemen from different jazz clubs affiliated with SJF.

SFJ consists of 14 Jazz clubs around the Sedibeng region. It is a non-profit organisation and their jazz sessions are divided into three phases:

1: Phase one is the normal session held by clubs and their presenters are selected by the hosting club

2: Phase two is what is called a jazz jam session where live bands are optional

3: Phase three is the super jazz session, held quarterly and the live bands are included.

“Jazz music is not for adults only, we also need the youth in the jazz fraternity because they can help fight crime. We warmly request our businessmen and women to assist Sedibeng Jazz Foundation in achieving our goal,” said SJF PRO, Happy Ayler Nape.
