ELM residents deserve better: DA
“We need to hold leaders accountable based on performance and integrity."
SEDIBENG.- The citizens of Sedibeng deserve leadership focused on addressing the region’s service delivery challenges rather than political rhetoric that divides communities along racial lines.
This is the opinion of Kingsol Chabalala, DA Emfuleni North Constituency Head.
Chabalala told Sedibeng Ster that effective governance requires that all parties focus on policy issues rather than identity-based accusations.
“We need to hold leaders accountable based on performance and integrity and prioritise improvements to basic services that affect all residents. The challenges facing municipalities like Sedibeng and Emfuleni are serious and complex. Addressing them requires honest assessment and cooperation across party lines. Democracy functions best when the opposition is viewed not as an enemy but as an essential component of accountable governance,” he said.
