As I drive down Ravel Road in Vanderbijlpark, I’m appalled.
The numerous potholes have made it a hazardous route, with speeding vehicles swerving into oncoming lanes to avoid them.
Recently, I had a harrowing experience when I had to veer off the road to avoid a car crossing into my lane at over 100km/h. The damage to vehicles’ mags and tyres is just the tip of the iceberg – it’s a miracle there haven’t been more serious accidents yet.
I implore the municipality to take immediate action and repair Ravel Road.
The people of Vanderbijlpark deserve better than to risk their lives daily on this treacherous road.
