ELFA Junior League set for April
No team will be allowed to participate in the league if they don’t pay the full registration fee.
SEDIBENG.- The Emfuleni Local Football Association (ELFA) junior league is expected to kick off this month.
This was revealed to Sedibeng Ster Sport by the ELFA Head of Development Master Zondo.
Speaking to Sedibeng Ster Sport, Zondo said they have already started with the registration process. He said teams are expected to submit their players’ documents under the MySAFA system.
According to Zondo, no team will be allowed to participate in the league if they don’t pay the full registration fee. He said teams are expected to pay the full amount before the start of the season. He told Sedibeng Ster Sport that in the past, the teams would be allowed to pay a full amount in the second round of the league, but this is something of the past.
“This season, there is no way we are going to add teams to fixtures if they didn’t pay the full registration fee. We made it clear to everyone that this season, it won’t be tolerated. We understand that some teams have financial challenges, but others take advantage. So, we are not going to make the same mistake again,” Zondo concluded.
