Law enforcement officer shows kind-hearted side

She took it upon herself to put a smile on the little angel's face by promising to buy her uniform.

SEBOKENG.– There is a side that law enforcement officers are not known for, their kindness.

Principal Provincial Inspector (PPI) Spanky Ramatsebe from Gauteng Traffic was a God-sent last Friday when the Sebokeng SAPS Social Crime Prevention, sector managers, Gauteng Traffic Wardens, the Community Policing Forum, and the Youth Crime Prevention Desk visited Lesedi La Thuto Primary School.

The Good Samaritan Ramatsebe is, identified a learner who did not have a school uniform, and she took it upon herself to put a smile on the little angel’s face by promising to buy her uniform.

The visit was for a school safety talk to raise awareness about the following:

– Sexual offences

– Bullying

– Drugs

– Child trafficking

– Initiation school

Sebokeng SAPS’ Sergeant Maria Molefi discouraged learners from joining gangs/ groups, and further added that school premises are meant for children who want to learn, and not a place where one is groomed to be a criminal.

The school management appreciated the dedicated members for their unwavering support.
