IN PICS: Sharpeville residents pray for peace

"The township is slowly being ‘infiltrated by demons’."

SHARPEVILLE.- Sharpeville residents gathered in prayer at the circle near the George Thabe Stadium on Easter Monday.

After having conversations through one of their social media groups, the community members decided to gather and pray “for peace” at the circle as they said that the township is slowly being “infiltrated by demons”.

They bemoaned the high crime rate in the township, and said that they (the residents) are killed daily, (and that) burglaries and robberies occur on a daily basis.
