Mkhabela tasked with huge responsibility

SEDIBENG.- SAFA Sedibeng President Solly SAFA Sedibeng President Solly Mkhabela has been tasked with a huge responsibility.
Mkhabela has been appointed by SAFA as the Head of Delegation for South Africa U/20 National Team.
The u/20 will be part of other nations that will compete in the 2025 African Cup of Nations. This youth continent football tournament will be hosted by Egypt from April 27. South Africa will start their AFCON campaign against the hosting nation in Group B. This is referred to as a group of death with the likes of Nigeria, and Morocco.
Speaking to Sedibeng Ster Sport, Mkhabela said he feels honoured to be tasked with such a big responsibility. He said this showed that SAFA has a faith in him.
“I’m looking forward to this tournament and I have no doubt that when I come back I’m going to implement what I have learned there in our local football here in Sedibeng. I’m grateful for this opportunity to be part of this biggest tournament in the continent,” said Mkhabela.
Meanwhile, Mkhabela sent his condolences to Simon Lehoko family.
He told Sedibeng Ster Sport that he has asked his executive committee to visit the family in Sharpeville.
