The school safety talk took place ahead of the Provincial Integrated Service Delivery Operations.

SEBOKENG.- The Gauteng Department of Community Safety Provincial Secretariat unit, together with stakeholders, conducted a school safety talk  at Thuto-Tiro Engineering School of Specialisation in Zone 10, Sebokeng last Thursday.

The school safety talk took place ahead of the Provincial Integrated Service Delivery Operations in the Emfuleni Local Municipality (ELM). During the session, learners were empowered with information on social challenges such as gangsterism, bullying, and substance abuse.

The team further encouraged learners to speak out against any form of abuse, emphasising the importance of seeking help and knowing their rights.

The department said that the school safety talk is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen safety in and around schools through proactive education and interdepartmental collaboration.
