School talk at ED Mashabane High School

The pupils were also encouraged to report any criminal activity.

EVATON.- The Evaton Police together with Masp (Men as safety promoters), and Wasp (Women as safety promoters) recently engaged with the learners at Ed Mashabane High School recently.

The engagement was meant to address:

  • Bullying
  • Substance abuse
  • Teenage pregnancy
  • GBVF
  • Assaults

Police spokesperson, Constable Thulisile Msibi, said that the pupils were encouraged to report any criminal activity.

“This initiative provides learners with the knowledge and tools to make informed choices, support one another, and contribute to a safer, healthier learning environment. Through open dialogue, real-life stories, and expert insights, the campaign seeks to inspire positive behaviour and personal growth among students,” she said.
