Diboko Art Production celebrates Africa Day
The event will be colorful with a traditional theme and activities such as Live Sesotho music, DJs, traditional food, and games.
SEBOKENG.- Tradition will be the order of the day when Diboko Art Production, in conjunction with Vaal Creative Network (VNC) and Ubumbano Youth Organisation, celebrates Africa Day.
This much-awaited event is scheduled to take place at Galaxy Restaurant in Zone 14 on May 25. Galaxy Restaurant sponsors and powers this event, which will see people celebrating Africa Day wearing different traditional attire on the day. This was revealed to Sedibeng Ster by Amos Stokkie, self-proclaimed “Hustling Pastor” who will co-host alongside one of the notable names, Thuli Wilskut.

He told Sedibeng Ster that there will be lots of entertainment.
Stokkie said this event was birthed by Itsebe Podcast, which is shot every Thursday, with the first episode to be uploaded on YouTube. He told Sedibeng Ster that Itsebe Podcast is to revive and remind Africans of their forgotten culture and traditions, which are paramount in assisting young and old to know themselves better so that they can face the future with pride and boldness.
“Look, the event will be colorful with a traditional theme and activities such as live Sesotho music, DJs, traditional food, and games. African Day is also a day of remembrance of who we are and where we come from. We invite the Sedibeng community to come and join us on the day to celebrate our tradition and culture. We will be exhibiting our diverse African clans and their beauty on the day. There is no entrance fee and everyone is welcome to join us, and I have no doubt Vaal will never be the same again,” said Stokkie.
Some of the guests will grace the event to provide entertainment, including Morena Shooter, Makhaya TN, DJ Charmer, DJ Pastor, and Kastrow Sex.
