Chiefs’ legend attends Mofokeng Foundation’s Gala Dinner

Mofokeng’s parents, Sechaba and Naome, were behind the success of the launch.

SHARPEVILLE.- Orlando Pirates star Relebohile Mofokeng successfully launched his Foundation in his hometown in the Vaal on Saturday evening.

This Gala Dinner followed the coaching workshop held at Tsoaranang Primary School in Sharpeville.

The highlight of the evening was the attendance of former Kaizer Chiefs darling Doctor Khumalo. Khumalo was part of the who’s who in football, coming out in support of the Vaal superstar’s foundation launch.

Football channel, SuperSport, Sesotho commentator Baba Mthetwa was also in attendance as one of the dignitaries at the event. It was a great evening of football with family, friends, teammates, and former soccer players who came to show love and support to the young star. It was a gathering of sports personalities There was a hive of activity taking place throughout the day.

Mofokeng’s parents, Sechaba and Naome, were behind the success of the launch. The two have done a great job of supporting their son’s football career, on and off the field.

Speaking at his launch, the shy Mofokeng said he was humbled by the attendance of Chiefs legend Khumalo. Mofokeng pleaded to the Vaal people to take ownership of this foundation.

“I want to thank everyone who is here tonight to support me. I appreciate every one of you for taking the time to spend the evening with us.” Khumalo was full of compliments for Mofokeng, saying that at his age, he showed a lot of maturity to launch his foundation.

Khumalo said other upcoming soccer stars should learn from Mofokeng.

“I don’t have much to say, but I want to take this opportunity to congratulate this young man on his journey. This is the biggest step he took in his career, and we are here to support him. It is our duty as ex-professional players to support youngsters like Rele,” Khumalo concluded.

Mofokeng’s parents were overwhelmed by the support their son received on the evening. They said they were grateful for the love that the people showed for their son, with some of them driving from Johannesburg to come and support him.
