This Orlando Pirates superstar’s soccer tournament comes to an end with the finals at James dusty soccer ground in Phelandaba, Sharpeville.

These much anticipated finals will start with the junior soccer teams, ladies’ soccer teams, masters’ soccer teams, and senior soccer teams. This tournament has attracted a big number of supporters since it started, with young and old having to opportunity to rub shoulders and taking selfies (photos) with this Pirates wonder kid.

The final will see the “resurrected” Vaal Milano FC battle out against FC Government in the senior men’s category. This is a dream final for local soccer fans, with both teams having assembled the galaxy of stars. It is a must-watch final between these two teams for a number of reasons.

This is the second final the FC Government will play in a short space of time. However, they are up against the experienced campaigners in Vaal Milano FC.

They lost on penalties at the Duku Duku Top16 Soccer Tournament final last month. This is must must-win for them to redeem themselves. Speaking to Sedibeng Ster Sport, Sechaba Mofokeng, who is the tournament coordinator, said all the finals will take place on Sunday.

“We want to thank everyone who made this tournament a huge success, especially the Sharpeville community. There has never been a dull moment since the tournament started three weeks ago. We are anticipating exciting finals from the junior soccer teams to the ladies soccer teams, masters soccer teams, and senior teams come Sunday,” said Mofokeng.

Sedibeng Ster Sport has learned that these finals are expected to attended by some of the notable names in the South African football such as Kaizer Chiefs legend Doctor Khumalo. Khumalo was one of the dignitaries who attended the launch of Relebohile Mofokeng Foundation in Sharpeville last month.
