SEDIBENG.- Thapelo “Sutata” Tahleho, a popular radio presenter at Sedibeng FM, has been nominated for the Best Traditional Music Community Radio Presenter award at the inaugural National Community Radio Awards.

The awards ceremony will take place on Friday, at the Joburg Theatre in Johannesburg.

Sutata hosts the highly acclaimed traditional music show “Reparolathota” every Saturday from 7:00 am to 10:00 am, showcasing the rich and vibrant sounds of South African traditional music. His dedication to promoting local talent and preserving cultural heritage has earned him recognition in the industry.

This is not Sutata’s first nomination, as he has also received four nominations at the South African Traditional Music Awards. Despite the recognition, Sutata remains humbled by the support he receives from his listeners in the Vaal region.

“I’m grateful for the love and support from my listeners,” Sutata said.
