SEDIBENG.- The MTN8 Trophy Tour will visit the Vaal on Wednesday.
This is ahead of the MTN8 second leg semi-finals this weekend.
The MTN8 Trophy Tour ambassadors are Lucky Lekgwathi and Brent Carelse.
Lekgwathi has been an MTN8 ambassador for the past five years, with his former team, Orlando Pirates, enjoying success in this competition.
Lekgwathi was part of the Pirates team that made history when they won the title in the 2010/2011 season under Ruud Krol. Not only that, he was the captain of that successful team. Back to the MTN8 Media Trophy Tour, this is ahead of the much-anticipated second semi-finals, with Orlando Pirates travelling to Lucas Moripe Stadium in Pretoria on Saturday.

The mighty Buccaneers have to dig deep if they entertain any hope of proceeding to the semifinals after they played to a 1-1 draw against Mamelodi Sundowns at the Orlando Stadium over the weekend. As the situation stands, Sundowns only need a draw to proceed to the final with an away goal rule. It is important to note that Pirates are not the same team that they were last season.
They started their Betway Premiership campaign, this season with two defeats, which is something that their fans are not used to.
In another second-leg semi-final, Stellenbosch are favourites to book their place in the final.
They come into this Saturday’s encounter leading Sekhukhune United by 2-0.
This second-leg semi-final will take place at the Peter Mokaba Stadium on Saturday.
