ELFA junior leagues in full swing

SEDIBENG.- It was action galore at various venues in Emfuleni with the Emfuleni Local Football Association’s Junior League teams competing against each other for maximum points over the weekend.

This development league saw the U11, U13, U15 and U17 divisions competing in week 9 fixtures, which produced goals galore on the day.

It was top-drawer football at Tsoaranang Primary School when Sharpeville Rhinos FC beat their neighbours Sharpeville Sweepers FC 1-0. Rhinos collected maximum points in all the games they played on the day, with their U13 also beating Sweepers FC 2-0. In another game which formed part of the day’s programme, Rhinos FC also beat their opponents, Sweepers, 2-0 in the U15 division. As if this is not enough, Rhinos FC completed their day with a 4-0 win over Sweepers FC.
