"I was told that he was still not feeling well and he was rushed to Bloemfontein University Clinic, from there he was taken straight to the hospital for a heart operation."
SEDIBENG.- Top local Coach Kenneth ‘Conti’ Kubheka was rushed to Bloemfontein University Clinic on Sunday.
Kubheka was scheduled for the SAFA Coaching Course in Bloemfontein, but upon his arrival, he felt sick and was rushed to the above-mentioned clinic. In a statement released by the South African Masters and Legends Football Association (SAMLFA) in Sedibeng, Kubheka went to consult a doctor as he was not feeling well on Saturday.
He was supposed to travel to Bloemfontein on the same day, but after he went to see the doctor, he decided to travel the following day, which was on Sunday. Themba Mokoena, the chairperson of the SAMLFA in Sedibeng, said he spent time with Kubheka, and they even watched the MTN8 first leg match between Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns in the afternoon.
“I was with Bra Conti, and he told me he didn’t feel well and he went to see the doctor. He was supposed to travel to Bloemfontein on the same day, but because he was not feeling well, he decided to travel the following day, which he did.”

“When he arrived there on Sunday, I was told that he was still not feeling well and he was rushed to Bloemfontein University Clinic, from there he was taken straight to the hospital for a heart operation. I therefore, fellow members, request all of us to put Coach Conti in our prayers and wish him a speedy recovery,” said Mokoena.
Kubheka has been a part of the SAFA Coaches Instructor who has been travelling the country to conduct coaching courses on behalf of the association. Recently, he conducted a Technical Director coaching course for local and outside coaches here in the Vaal. Sedibeng Ster Sport will follow his recovery.
