SEBOKENG.- Phoila Zimbawe penned down an emotional appreciation letter to his supporters after being crowned Mr Daring Youth South Africa 2025 over the weekend.

In his letter to his supporters, Zimbawe said he deeply appreciated the support he received from his community when he needed it most. He told Sedibeng Ster that they (supporters) must celebrate his crown as their victory too. He said this victory is a call to restore dignity in the Vaal, to create opportunities for the youth, and to uplift the community with hope and purpose.

He said he is passionate about changing the lives of young people in the community by using his God-given talent, which is modeling.

The letter continues to read as follows:

“I want to take a moment to sincerely thank you for the support you have shown me throughout my journey in the Mr Daring Youth South Africa competition. This crown is more than a title; it is a responsibility and a calling. To men, it represents dignity for the young people in my community. This is a victory not only for me but for every young person in our community who dares to dream. With this platform, I want to dedicate myself to uplifting, inspiring, and building a legacy of purpose and excellence that will benefit all of us,” he concluded.

To date, Zimbawe has managed to raise R1 000 for the competition with the help of the community and friends.
