Proud moment for Vereeniging SAPS as they scoop multiple awards

Through garnering these awards, the station has proven its commitment to excellence and community service.

VEREENIGING – The Sedibeng District Commissioner, Major General Nkhensani Mukhwevho, recently congratulated Vereeniging SAPS for their exceptional performance, commending the leadership and teamwork behind the success of the station.

This is after the station garnered nine awards at the recent Sedibeng District SAPS Excellence Awards. The awards give recognition for extraordinary commitment, hard work, and dedication. Furthermore, they highlight achievements towards the SAPS’s strategic objectives, encourage a culture of excellence, and motivate employees to enhance service delivery and uphold the organisation’s integrity.

The awards received include Station of the Year, Vispol Employee of the Year, Quality Manager Employee of the Year, Reservist of the Year, Woman of the Year, Senior Operational Manager of the Year, first runner-up for Admin Employee of the Year, and second runner up for Detective and Forensic Employee of the Year as well as Senior Operational Manager of the Year. Through garnering these awards, the station has proven its commitment to excellence and community service.

Speaking about the achievement, station commander Brigadier Sibongile Ndaba expressed heartfelt appreciation to the dedicated members of Vereeniging SAPS for going the extra mile in their daily duties. Ndaba extended gratitude to the community and stakeholders for their continuous support and cooperation, stating that this is what sets the station apart.

Ndaba says the achievement is a clear reflection of the extraordinary dedication and teamwork displayed by members in serving and protecting the community of Vereeniging.
