SAPS’ public engagement in Meyerton before festive season

Major General Mukhwevho engaged with the community of Sicelo, where residents were given the opportunity to raise their concerns, ask questions, and propose possible solutions to enhance safety in their area.

SEDIBENG.- Major General Nkhensani Mukhwevho, together with station commanders from different police stations in Sedibeng recently led the Safer Festive Season Operation Shanela II activities in the Sedibeng District.

In attendance is representatives from the Department of Community Safety, local councillors, and officials from the Department of Home Affairs.


The session was chaired by Brigadier Sibongile Ndaba as part of the district’s festive season safety campaigns.

Police spokesperson, Sergeant  Thembeka Maxambela, said that Major General Mukhwevho engaged with the community of Sicelo, where residents were given the opportunity to raise their concerns, ask questions, and propose possible solutions to enhance safety in their area.
