JJ Sporting to host Good Luck Exams Development Tournament

"My plea to the coaches is that they must not put these youngsters under pressure to win but encourage them to have fun on the day."

SEDIBENG.- Several local development teams will participate in the Good Luck Exams Soccer Tournament scheduled to take place at Dick Fourie Stadium in Vereeniging this coming Saturday.

The tournament, hosted by JJ Sporting FC, aims to wish the youngsters good luck as they prepare to write their final exams.

Speaking to Sedibeng Ster Sport, Tyrone Koller said the aim of the tournament is not about winning but preparing the U11, U13 and U15 players psychologically before their exams. He believes this tournament will help the players to approach their final exams with confidence.

“As JJ Sporting we decided to organise this tournament for the development teams within our communities to wish our players the best of luck as they are about to write their final exams. It has been a long year, so this tournament is simply about having fun. This is the first initiative of its kind to take place in Sedibeng. My plea to the coaches is that they must not put these youngsters under pressure to win but encourage them to have fun on the day,” said Koller.

The local top development teams and academies have already indicated their participation in this tournament. Koller said, they also invited teams from outside Vaal to be part of this initiative. Some of the teams that will form part of this initiative include those who compete in the Gauteng Development League (GDL) B Stream.
