SASOLBURG – Parts of Sasolburg’s critical infrastructure are in the crosshairs as the Eric Louw substation has fallen victim to theft and vandalism.

This interruption has resulted in significant damage and disruption to the electricity supply.

In a statement on Monday, Metsimaholo Local Municipality said its technical team is conducting a full assessment of the incident.

“The municipality will carry out a detailed technical evaluation and commence the necessary repair work to restore electricity safely and efficiently.”
