Ezenkosi welcomes JBM FC in Vaal after back-to-back defeats

It is a must-win for both teams to move away from the relegation quagmire.

SEDIBENG.- After a back-to-back defeat, Jomo Cosmos will be out to redeem themselves when they host JBM FC in the Gauteng ABC Motsepe League fixture.

This must-win encounter for Ezenkosi is scheduled to take place at the Isak Steyl Stadium in Vanderbijlpark this afternoon (Saturday).

Kick-off time is at 15:00. Cosmos comes into this game following two defeats.

They lost 2-0 to La Masia at home over the weekend and to TUT FC with the same score in a midweek match. This is despite the fact that they dominated the better part of the game but failed to convert their chances into goals.

It was the same story against TUT, dominating the proceedings but failing to convert their chances into goals. They find themselves stuck in 16th position on the log, standing with 0 points from the nine games they played since the start of the campaign. However, Cosmos boss Jomo Sono was confident that his team would turn the tables against JBM, who also find themselves in 15th position on the log.

It is a must-win for both teams to move away from the relegation quagmire if they entertain any hopes of a campaign in this league next season.

Sono said they have been unlucky despite creating plenty of opportunities.

“I must say, we were very unlucky in both games. We tried to do everything right, but scoring goals was our biggest downfall. It is just a matter of time before we find our scoring boots,” said Sono.
