Back-to-School boost for Midvaal learners

MLM has thanked Soufflet Malt and Model Liquor Distributors for supporting the annual Back-to-School Campaign.

MIDVAAL – The Midvaal Local Municipality (MLM) has officially launched its annual Back-to-School Campaign, ensuring local students start the new academic year on the right foot, literally.

In a joint effort with Soufflet Malt and Model Liquor Distributors, the municipality donated more than 120 pairs of school shoes, along with socks and dignity packs, to learners at Laerskool Voorwats, De Deur Primary School, and Randvaal Primary School.

MLM says that for many learners, a lack of essential items can negatively affect attendance and self-esteem.

MLM Mayor Peter Teixeira.

“As a municipality, we are committed to ensuring that learners remain motivated and are not discouraged from pursuing their education due to a lack of resources.”

MLM extends its appreciation to Soufflet Malt and Model Liquor Distributors for their support and commitment to making a positive impact in the community.

The municipality remains committed to partnerships that uplifts Midvaal residents and provide support where it is most needed.
