Man fatally shot in Vereeniging

VEREENIGING.- The Vereeniging Police are investigating a murder case following a fatal shooting yesterday.
A 30-year-old man was shot multiple times, allegedly by unknown suspects, and was declared dead at the scene.

According to reports, the victim was a foreign national who worked as a vegetable supplier. He was attacked by unidentified suspects while moving his truck out of a yard.
The suspects reportedly fled the scene in a vehicle shortly after the shooting.
Police spokesperson, Sergeant Thembeka Maxambela, confirmed that the motive for the attack is currently unknown, and no arrests have been made so far.
Authorities are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
