Sedibeng Netball held successful males’ trials
The good news is that, for the first time, their registration reached over 500.
SEBOKENG.- The Sedibeng Netball Federation held male squad trials at the Saul Tsotetsi Sports Complex in Zone 14 on Saturday.
The aim was to select the Sedibeng males regional squads for U23 A and B, and Senior Males A and B. Speaking to Sedibeng Ster Sport, Sedibeng Netball Federation president Fakazile Nketsing said they were pleased with the attendance.
She told Sedibeng Ster Sport that the trials were well attended with male netball players from local clubs from the three municipalities, Emfuleni, Midvaal, and Lesedi Local Municipality, as well as from NWU Vaal and VUT in attendance.

Nketsing said the good news is that, for the first time, their registration reached over 500, and they will be able to take two teams per division to the national championships scheduled to take place in the Northern Cape from October 4-9.
She told Sedibeng Ster Sport that this is a remarkable achievement and that they can finally see where Sedibeng netball is heading.
Nketsing believes this is a big step for Sedibeng netball.
“We are proud of the hard work by the members of the current administration. They work tirelessly to change the landscape of Sedibeng’s netball. But having said this, we still have a lot to do to support our Sedibeng squads.”
